“HONGKONGESE” RECIPE

 Hong Kong people are very much like sweet soup, and black sesame sweet soup is one of their favorites.  Just a few minutes, it can be served as after meal dessert.  Perfect!

Black Sesame Sweet Soup

Ingredients

Black sesame 100g (½ cup)
Rice 100g (½ cup)
Rock sugar syrup 160ml (⅔ cup)
Water 720ml (3 cups)

 

Procedures

  1. Wash black sesame and rice with filtered water. Set black sesame aside until dry and soak rice with filtered water for 1 hour;
  2. Heat the pan over low heat, add black sesame into the pan and stir until brown;
  3. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container and put the lid on;
  4. Start the machine on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed;
  5. Run the machine for 7 minutes.
