– Smoothie

Turn healthy fruits and vegetables into refreshing smoothies and juices.  The Vitamix uses the whole ingredient, including the fiber, for a great healthy meals and snacks.

Glowing Green Smoothie

Ingredients (2 servings)

Water 360ml (1 ½ cups)
Roman lettuce 360g (1 ½ cups)
Baby spinach 60g (¼ cup)
Celery 120g (½ cup)
Apple 120g (½ cup)
Pear 120g (½ cup)
Banana 120g (½ cup)
Lemon 120g (½ cup)

 Procedures

  1. Wash all the ingredients with filtered water;
  2. Cut celery to pieces, remove the core of apple and pear, peel banana and lemon skin;
  3. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and put the lid on;
  4. Start the machine on its lowest speed, and quickly increase to its highest speed;
  5. Run the machine for 45 seconds or until smooth, opening the lid plug to use tamper as needed.

TIPS: For more flavor, you can add cilantro and parsley leaves. If all the ingredients don’t fit into the container, start the blend and add additional ingredients through the lid plug while blending.
